Problem: display shows 366 wrong cartridge fitted

Solution 1: Could be failed print head circuit (change print head £60) or faulty ribbon cable (change cable-cost unknown but won't be cheap). Either way it will not be economical to repair. I'm assuming you already tried several 'good' cartridges to test. Good luck!

Problem: How do you resolve a paper jam in the Canon MP360?

Solution 1: Do not pull the jammed paper out forcibly. Remove it by following the steps below: 1. Open the top cover and remove the toner cartridge. 2. Check the paper feed area, the output area, or inside the printer, and then remove the jammed paper. - When removing the jammed paper, make sure not to touch the transfer roller. 3. Reset the toner cartridge, and then close the top cover.

Problem: Hi, my canon mp360 has just started showing data error. I followed some
Reset advice and the printer came back to life ?
But will not communicate with my computer. Even after I re-installed the
Driver software ? Please could you help

Solution 1: I had the same Problem and Solved in in this Way:

- first replace the Cmos Battery
- It's on the Left Side of the Printer.
- Or you let the Printer always pluged in to the wall socket.

- plug in the power Cable while Pressing the Copy Button

- The Display Shows as usual, but the PC doesn't recognise the Printer.

- Now you have to go to Service Mode.
Press the following Buttons in this sequence:
"Settings - Scan - Copy - Scan"

- Now Display Shows #1 SSSW
- Press Menu till Display Shows #5 TYPE
- Press o.k.
- Select Machine Type FW1 (FW2=MP370)
- Select Language German
- Leave the Service menu pressing the reset Button.

Now Your Printer should work properly like before.

If you have replaced the Cmos Battery, you can unplug the Power Cable whithout leaving your correct Settings.

Otherwise you have to do the Steps above again when unplugging or power grid Fails.
