I have a MG5650 printer. Has been working fine, I switched it off to change an ink cartridge , when switched on I got an error code of 1403 stating wrong printer head installed!. I tried replacing the ink cartridge with another, and still have same problem
I use my MG5650 with edible ink to print images for cakes. It has stopped printing black (other colours are ok). Have checked ink cartridge is full, have cleaned heads, etc but when I print a test page all colours bands except the PGBK print. Help
Hi my printer screen isn't working but the printer itself has power. Any ideas how this can be fixed.

All of a sudden my printer won't print in black and all of the colours are distorted and much lighter than the original was. Black comes out as a light brown. I have changed all of the ink cartridges, changed settings, and ran diagnostics (which comes out perfect!). It just won't print or copy in the correct colours.
on starting to print an error box appears at right hand side of screen( no code)and the printer prints very slowly and stops intermittently so takes long time to print
My Canon Pixma MG5650 is printing colour and black and white OK. However when copying onto a white piece of A4 it is leaving a grey cast on the copied piece of paper. This grey cast is uniform over the paper. Any clus as to why would be appreciated. I have done two deep cleans but the problem persists.
Hi, I need to get the printer into service mode to reset 'ink absorber almost full' warning.

When I send a document to printer, it goes through the printing of each page but page is blank.
Changed black cartridge, all other cartridges are empty.
Can you help?

My PIXMA MG5650 fails to print through the wireless.
It will print through a cable connection.
Several times, the printer says It is out of paper when it is not, re-sorting the paper in tray cures this and the printer will then print, but as I print remotely, it is a nuisance having to keep going upstairs to the printer when the error message appears.
